Lunar Landscapes

These are high magnification lunar shots. The scope used is an f/10 Celestron C9.25 but with two barlow lenses, it focal length is increased to f/40. The image is formed by taking in short video with a Canon DSLR then separating the video into it's individual frames. The individual frames are then processed using a program named Registax. On the very basic level, it's using many images of the same area then throwing out all the bad ones. A single short video can produce between 1000 and 2000 images so there is likely to be many good frames. There will be more to come...
